DEIN VERANTWORTUNGSBEREICH

Als Data Scientist (w/m/d) analysierst Du große Datenmengen aus einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Quellen, um die Forecasts für unsere Kunden zu optimieren.

Du arbeitest gemeinsam mit einem Projektteam an verschiedenen Use Cases unserer Kunden (insbesondere in den Bereichen Forecasting und Natural Language Processing) und betreust diese während der gesamten Projektlaufzeit
Du analysierst und bereitest komplexe Daten auf, mit dem Ziel, neue Erkenntnisse und Potentiale zur Performance Optimierung unserer Kunden zu ermitteln
Du setzt statistische Methoden und Algorithmen zielgerichtet ein
Du erstellst auf Basis der Kundendaten Modellierungen und reicherst diese durch externe Daten an
Weiterhin stehst du im Rahmen der Aufbereitung, Visualisierung und Präsentation der Analyseergebnisse im direkten Austausch mit unseren Kunden

DAS BRINGST DU MIT

Du hast einen sehr guten Hochschulabschluss mit quantitativem Schwerpunkt (z.B. Informatik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Statistik) oder bereits tief gehende Erfahrungen im Bereich Data Science
Du hast 2-3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Statistik, Predictive Analytics, Machine-, oder Deep Learning zur Anwendung von Time Series Data
Du kannst sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python und Datenbanksprachen (z.B. SQL, MongoDB) vorweisen
Du kennst die gängigen Standardbibliotheken zur Datenvisualisierung und -aufbereitung
Ein stark ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen, Neugier, eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe sowie eine hohe soziale Kompetenz zeichnen dich aus
Idealerweise konntest du diese Erfahrung in der Industrie sammeln
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab

YOUR TASK

As a Data Scientist you analyze big quantities of data out of a variety of different sources to reveal connections on our customers business processes that have been hidden so far. Your tasks include in particular:

You work together with a project-team on different user-cases from our customers (especially in the field of forecasting, Image Classification and Natural Language Processing) and you supervise the customers during the whole project time
You analyze and process complex data with the aim of determining new findings and potentials for performance optimization
You know statical methods and algorithms and use them targeted
Based on customer data, you create modellings and enriche them with external data
You develop software to be useable in the customers standard operation
Furthermore, you assist with processing, visualizing, and presenting the results of the analysis for the customers

YOUR PROFILE

You have a very good university degree with a quantitative focus (computer science, business science, business administration, economics, statistics or something comparable) or profound experiences in the field of data science
You have three years of professional experience in software development and/or in the fields of statistics, predictive analytics, machine-, deep learning
Ideally you have gained these experiences in the industry
You have a very good knowledge of Python and data base retrieval language (eg. SQL, MongoDB)
You have very pronounced analytical thinking skills, curiosity and quick thinking as well as high social skills
You have good German and English knowledge skills
