YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND TEAM
Our product-team has a lot to do and therefore we are looking for you! Not only for the further development of our forecasting product “Westphalia forecast”, but for the continuously expansion our infrastructure and integration we need your help. At Westphalia DataLab there is a lot going on and you have the chance to be involved a full stack developer. Introduce your expertise and help us bringing our products to the next level.
YOUR TASK
As a Fullstack Developer (w/m/d) you are, together with our product team, responsible for trouble-free development, implementation and optimization of our product and product-features. Your tasks include in particular:
- You assist the whole product team with the technical and implementation concept for modern, user-friendly, and intuitive application and the integration in our product.
- You edit features and bugfixes and take care of a clean display on different terminal devices.
- You are the technical contact person for the modules that you develop.
- You are in contact with our clients to match requirements and product functionality.
- You develop new or already existing features and define standards of development for the implementation.
- You work interdisciplinary with a team out of machine learning engineers, data scientists, product managers and UX designers.
YOUR PROFILE
Your contribution to our joint success:
- Completed IT studies or comparable professional training and several years of professional experience as a web or fullstack developer
- Solid skills in developing modern web applications using frameworks such as Angular and Express.js
- Experience in the design and implementation of REST apis using OpenApi specifications
- Good knowledge of connecting to and using databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Experience working with CI/CD via Github
- Preferably, you already gained experience with cloud-based technologies (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and have had touch points with Docker and Kubernetes
- Optional: Experience in Python and implementing REST apis using Flask or FastApi
- You are keen to work in an agile environment and feel ready to bring your ideas to the table
- Strong teamwork skills as well as very good written and spoken German and English complete your profile
